"affordable, nice tostadas & great coffee! even if you opt for more expensive options (like the shrimp tostada or avocado stuff) you’ll still be under 10eur with a coffee on the side. eskerrik asko!"

"Good honest simple food served with a smile. The 2 man team here were extremely welcoming and we had a lovely breakfast as family of 5. It is very reasonably priced. We enjoyed especially the cappuccinos and fruit bowls that were loaded with treats. This place is frequented by locals also and tourists so always a good sign"

"Favorite place for breakfast, highly recommended, very close to an air bnb we're staying at. This place was recommended by our host, the fruit bowl in particular is very good (very fresh, delicious combination), as is the coffee (I ordered cappuccinos). It's a busy place understandably so just go with the flow and be prepared to wait for a table/ food if they're busy, it's worth the wait - seriously, we returned to this place 2 more breakfasts out of a 4 nights stay, after trying out two different places they have an English menu, they show it to you on an ipad if you just ask had also tried the cheese cake (good, recommend sharing as it's rather substantial a slice) and the salmon Horta, which was also very good. Favorite is the fruit bowl the waitress was incredible and despite the busyness and very wide clientele, she even remembered and asked if I'd like to repeat my very first order there from 2 days prior (despite that return having been only my second visit, ever). Self service water at the corner of the room."

"A perfect cafe experience in San Sebastián. We enjoyed our breakfast so much we went 3 days in a row, which is something we rarely do since there are always other options. Es Cafe has a welcoming vibe, delicious food and amazing service. Highly recommend their egg / avocado toast, donuts and cappuccino."
